Dragons Tooth Trail Ribbon Cutting

This ribbon cutting marks a historic milestone as the first trail system at Salem Lake to be built with the full support and approval of the City. FORBA built our community's first kid-focused mountain bike area, featuring beginner-friendly loops and skill features tailored specifically for young riders — including trails appropriate for children as young as 2 years old. The bike area also includes a comfortable space for adults to relax while watching their children ride, making it a welcoming destination for families.

City officials, FORBA representatives, and community partners will be on hand for brief remarks and the ceremonial ribbon cutting. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to explore the new trails and celebrate this exciting step forward for outdoor access and youth engagement in Forsyth County. There will be activities for the kids.
