Hobby Park - Trail Work Day

Come out Sept. 5th and help give your trails a hand at Hobby Park. We have a lot to do this work day! Recent storms have downed trees and branches on the trail and left rocks in Little Pisgah scattered. On top of the work to clean up from recent storms we will be addressing some long overdue drainage issues at the bottom of the derbie downhill by installing a 16' Bridge over a low spot by the drainage pond and re-burying the drainage pipe before the final berm. Please bring appropriate footwear, work gloves (work gloves provided if you forget), and hydration. We will meet in the upper parking lot at 8am. Volunteers will be broken into small groups and we'll be practicing social distancing. Hope to see you there.
