About the event
The Piedmont Legacy Trails Summit celebrates and supports local trails and the people who are making them happen. Now in its fifth year the Summit is sparking more regional cohesion and vision for our growing trail network in the Triad. We invite you to re-imagine systems, to join with natural allies, and to create strategies for a better future for the Triad and for North Carolina.
The 5th Annual Piedmont Legacy Trails Summit will feature presentations on:
- Enhancing Trail Equity and Inclusion
- Trail Funding
- Rural Trail Marketing and Tourism
- Creating a Culture of Walking
- Partnering with Health Organizations
- Shared-Use Paths in Urban Centers
- Interactive discussions on Local and Regional Trail Advocacy
