The ribbon is down where they had the mountain bike trail closed. The only part of the trail you can ride is the part that is across the creek. I have picked up limbs and cut up seven trees that were down. There is one massive tree right at the end of the trail that I will need some help on. I've got it cut back to just the log.
The horse Trail parking lot is still closed and I did not see any work being done on the trails. They look like they're complete.
Anybody with a saw going to Hobby Park soon?
I’ could use a hand cutting down a some 4x4s into sign posts in the morning at Salem Lake. Meeting at the bowl about 8:30 am.
I rode there recently (pre all this damage) and some of the old trail was still fairly clear (dog lot side of creek). Are the trails on that side going to be down for good or are there plans to reconnect that side in the future? Just curious.
