Dirt is getting moved on the North side. Tim and Dave are clearing and prepping the Sinkhole (anybody got a better name?) and dirt will start getting added to build the giant step up. Here's a pic of the flow trail that I've been working on. It will be ready to start shaping, packing and test riding this weekend. Let me know if you want come help dial this first section in.
Any word on when the county will be providing the lumber?
The lumber and other supplies were delivered this morning to the Tanglewood maintenance offices barn so will have to load it up and haul it to work area the day of work or day before. It just can block road and interfere with Festival of Lights. Will work on organizing a few workdays within the next several weeks.
I rode Hobby at lunch yesterday and there were 4 trees down that required climbing over or around (one was blocking the trail in 2 places). I put pictures on Trailforks. I’m going to try to clear some of it at lunch today but at least one is too big for me and my electric chainsaw to get.
I’ll be out there tomorrow (Friday). Tony will have his machine and we’ll be working on (Tobacco Rd. )
