Leave The Leaves!
Jairo made signs! He and I are coordinating efforts to place as many as we can. Hobby, Jesus, etc…Currently, he’s posted at Pinion Pine and Pisgah Rock. Hopefully we get them all placed soon. Who knows whether people will actually read them but the info is there and it’s possible we end up replacing a few. Just wanted to give folks a heads up. Also, I did write a recent article for FORBA in support of leaving the leaves as well as bandit trail building. Hopefully we get that posted on the website soon!!!

I don’t agree because no leaves matter and all the jump lines and tobacco Road will be blown off like they always have been because wet leaves and wet roots are not good. They are detrimental to the safety of trail riders. This is non-debatable and we can argue about it until the cows come home. I’m not trying to be argumentative, but leaving leaves on the trail does nothing to benefit the trail and causes numerous issues with trail conditions as in clogging drains and never letting your trails dry out leading a trail closures, which is never a good thing and a lot of injuries from people sliding out and sloppy wet conditions
